Study of SD-UTN Technology and Application in China Unicom Local Unified Transport Networks

摘要 中国联通本地综合承载传送网(UTN)很好地适应了3G/4G时代移动回传业务的承载需求。结合UTN网络长期存在、逐步演进的定位和4G/5G时代多业务承载的需要,研究了将SDN技术引入UTN网络,逐步形成面向业务和用户感知的下一代SD-UTN网络的背景、意义、关键技术和主要应用场景,以及网络演进过程中的重点与难点。通过分析论证,可以发现将SDN技术与UTN设备、网管、OSS等系统结合意义重大,可以实现业务的灵活配置和快速调整,应对未来移动互联网、物联网和专线服务快速发展的需要。 The local unified transport network (UTN) fits China Unicorn' s requirement of 3G/4G mobile backhaul. According to UTN' s current condition, and future evolution, it first analyzes the development status of China Unicom's local unified transport net- works. Then the network problems and relevant SDN solutions are discussed. Finally, the introduction and convergence tech- nology of SDN and practical networks are given and explained. Based on the analysis, the SDN technology has significative in- fluence on UTN, and the capability of providing agile service meets the carrier requirement of future mobile Internet, Internet of things and VPN business well.
