摘要
高职英语是高等职业教育中的一门公共课程,高等职业教育的发展越来越要求将语言学习和学科学习结合起来,这也是基于CBI理念的英语教学法所倡导的。这种新的教学法使高职英语教师面临着新的挑战。本文分析了现有高职英语教师现状,并根据现状提出师资队伍建设的几点建议。
English is one of the public disciplines in the vocational and technical colleges. The development of the higher vocational and technical colleges requires combining the language study with the discipline study, which is called content - based instruction （CBI for short）. This teaching method gives more challenge to the English teachers in higher vocational and technical colleges. It analyzes the present situation faced by the English teachers in vocational and technical college and puts forward some suggestion on how do teachers′ development.
