宋代的罂粟

摘要 宋代罂粟种植广泛,遍布各地,成为一种常规农事和园艺,摸索出一套成熟的种植技术。罂粟用途多样,主要是作为观赏花卉,而且品种有改进,地位不断上升;成熟后作为药材驱逐"邪热"、因服丹石引起的发热,以及医疗肠胃、痢疾、咳嗽、止血等疾病,开创了罂粟医药的新纪元,丰富了中医药;作为可以入口食用的美味,开发出罂粟苗蔬菜、罂粟腐、粥、汤等多种饮食产品,大多属于食疗范畴。还作为礼品馈送亲友。僧人也普遍种植、服用罂粟。宋人对这一新物种的应用,在唐代的基础上开发殆尽,丰富了饮食生活和医药,奠定了罂粟使用的正确方向。 The poppy was planted widely around the country in the Song Dynasties, and it became part of normal farm work and horticulture. A set of mature techniques had been invented for its growth. Uses of poppy were diversfied. It was a kind of flowers for enjoyment in most cases. Its breeds were improved and its importance was increasing. After it became mature, they said its seeds could be used as medicine to dispel the 'evil heat'and the fever generating from eating pellets, and to cure such diseases as enterogastric troubles,dysentery, coughing, bleeding, which marked the beginning of a new era in uses of the poppy and enriched the traditional Chinese medicine.It was also seen as edible, and poppy seedlings as vegetable. Such food products as poppy curd, porridge and soup were developed as food therapy, even as gifts for relatives and friends. Many monks also planted and ate it.Based on the practices in the Tang Dynasty,uses of the plant was developed to its upmost in the Song Dynasties, which enriched people's living and set a correct direction for its uses.
