摘要
大学治理是现代大学制度研究的一个重点。推进大学治理首先需要探明其动因。从根本上讲,大学治理的目的就是要构建一个知识共同体,使大学人能够充分享受知识探究的乐趣。从现实性上讲就是构建和谐的大学内外部关系。"治理"作为大学的一种内生品质,在历史中不断演进,今天开始趋向共同治理模式。我国大学既肩负治理结构变革的重任,又面临治理理念创新的严峻挑战。这一切都呼唤超一流的大学校长诞生,从而创造一种新型治理文化,引导创建中国特色大学模式,促进中国高等教育实现由"大"到"强"的转变。
University governance is a key point in the research of modern university system. In order to promote it, its causes should be firstly ascertained. Essentially, its goal is to construct the knowledge community to allow university faculty and students to fully enjoy the pleasure of intellectual inquiry. Practically, it is to build a harmonious university rela- tionship from internal and external. Historically, as an intrinsic quality of university, gov- ernance has been evolving. Up to present, it is prone to the co-governance model. China＇s u- niversity not only shoulder the important mission of governance structure reform, but also face the challenge to innovate the idea of governance, so it needs the excellent president to help create a new type of governance culture and university model with Chinese characteris- tics, promoting the Chinese higher education transformation from the biggest one to the strongest one.
