摘要
本文讨论了双三次Bezier曲面和双三次B-pline曲面的插值设计方法及其在工程曲面设计中的应用。为了保证曲面通过给定的全部型值点,采用反求控制网格顶点的方法,并通过边界条件的选择来控制曲面的形状。
This paper deals with the algorithm for the interpolating calculation of a double cubic Bezier surface and a double cubic B-Spline surface as well as the applications of the algorithm in the geometric design of an engineering surface.An example of the design for the profile surface of a bus is given and a discussion is made on how to use the double cubic Bezier surface and B-Spline surface for the geometric profiling so as to have the surface considered cover all the data points given by the designer and satisfy the requirements on smoothness.The problems of how to choose proper boundary conditions to cope with the proper shape of the surface in actual design and how to control the surface shape by different boundary conditions are also discussed.The algorithm developed is applicable to cases where there are arbitrary numbers of data points.
