Objective To explore the effect of rehabilitation nursing on swallowing function recovery of patients with dysphagia after stroke. Methods From January 2013 to December 2015, 200 patients with dysphagia after stroke were selected, which were randomly divided into 2 groups, 100 cases in each group, observation group with swallowing function training and rehabilitation nursing method, the control group with routine nursing. The swallowing function was evaluated before and after the first meal and twenty-eighth days after treatment, respectively. The excellent rates of swallowing function recovery after treatment were compared between the 2 groups. Results The two groups of patients after a period of 4 weeks of symptomatic treatment and care, swallowing function were restored. The total effective rate of observation group was 82%, and the total effective rate of control group was 65%. Total effective rate of observation group was obviously higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant (χ2=12.357, P〈0.05);The effective rate of nursing care in the observation group was 97%, significantly higher than that in the control group ( 86%) , the difference was statistically significant (P〈0.05).Conclusions For patients with swallowing disorder after stroke in a timely manner to give rehabilitation nursing, can obviously promote the recovery of patients with swallowing function, guarantee the nutrition supply, reduce the complications, and improve the quality of life.
