摘要
舰船英语中大量的专业术语、合成词组、复杂长句及频繁使用的被动语态等特点是翻译的难点,本文尝试将舰船科技翻译作为一个独立的专业领域,分析舰船科技英语的语言特点,探讨其翻译技巧,以期为舰船科技翻译工作者提供一定的借鉴作用。
This paper reveals the stylistic features of English warship resources, an unique genre of S ＆ T English, especially the features of wording and sentence structure. The paper suggests some stylistically-matched translation strategies for warship resources, as well as some techniques with which to deal with its technical terms and long sentences.
