摘要
针对目前嵌入式压缩视频采集系统的局限性,设计了一套基于FPGA的嵌入式真彩色数字视频采集系统。首先,使用AD9883A芯片对CCD相机的视频输出信号进行模数转换;然后,对行同步信号分频,以得到像素时钟信号;最后,通过FPGA设计的片内FIFO,把转换后的数字信号和同步信号输出到外围SDRAM中,进而完成视频数据的采集。相比于大部分使用bt656视频数据流格式的采集系统,设计的系统解决了24位真彩色RGB数据输入与输出之间的位宽和速率匹配问题,能完成更高质量的视频数据采集工作。实验结果表明,该系统满足设计工业需要,可以采集到更高质量的相机视频数据。
True color digital video acquisition embedded system based on FPGA was designed. First, the system uses the AD9883A chip for the CCD camera's video output signal's A/D conversion and then gets the pixel clock signal by the line sync signal's frequency division. Finally, through the FIFO design of the chip FPGA, the system outputs the converted digital signal and synchronous signal to the peripheral SDRAM, completing the video data acquisition. COmpared to most of the acquisition systems using bt656 video data format, the designed system can complete more high-quality video data acquisition by solving the problem of 24 bit true color RGB data width and rate matching between input and output. The system meets the design requirements and can collect camera video data in much higher quality.
