艾丽丝·门罗是加拿大著名女作家,擅长创作短篇小说,被誉为"加拿大的契诃夫"。她在世界文坛上有着巨大影响,并于2013年荣获诺贝尔文学奖。门罗笔下的女性聪慧、敏感,散发出迷人的魅力。论文以门罗众多短篇小说为蓝本,从门罗的生活经历、女性主义和小镇背景三个方面探讨门罗笔下的女性人物塑造的成因。从中我们可以了解门罗自身的人生经历和心路历程,同时也感受到她对女性复杂的内心世界的真实写照。
The Canadian writer of Alice Munro, hailed as ＂Canadian Chekov＂, she is famous for her short stories. She has great influence in the world, and received a heavyweight Nobel prize. The women characters in Munro＇s novels are intelligent, sensitive and they are charming and lively. This paper consists, based on copies of Munro＇s original short- story collections, from the perspectives of Alice Munro ~ s life experience and feminism, and the little Windham town background, explains the underlying causes for shaping female images. From these works, readers may detect the spirit- ual journey in the author＇s life and have a deep understanding of her concern for the female＇s fates and exploration human complexities.
