摘要
我校2010年在新校区图书馆引入RFID自助借还技术。但在使用了2年多后,因存在一些技术缺陷和其他问题,被迫停止使用该技术。RFID技术因其优势和特点,前些年在图书馆广受追捧,但在使用一段时间后,不同图书馆由于自己的价值取向和对RFID技术的优势和技术缺陷考虑权重不同,对待该技术在图书馆应用的态度也不相同。现将该技术的特点、现状及在我校图书馆应用中存在的问题加以分析,供大家借鉴。
In 2010, RFID was introduced to our new campus library for self-service lending/return. After 2 years＇ use, however, the practice was stopped due to technical defects. Likewise, RFID technology, well received years ago by library, is now being favored or dismissed by libraries. The paper reviews the characteristics and current status of the teclmology, as well as identifying the problem we faced while using it, to provide reference for readers.
