摘要
从认识论上看,科学争论就是论辩双方进行劝说与反驳的科学修辞语境化;从方法论上看,科学争论是一个修辞方法较量的语境场,是论辩双方根据当下的情形制定并实施的灵活多变而非程序化的战术和战略。在科学争论中,科学修辞负责形成从单方的演示证明到双方对峙的论辩场的转换,负责审查科学争论对峙主体的合法性资格并赋予双方公平申诉和反驳的权利,比较争论双方证明、证据和理由的效度及说服力度,而科学修辞的姊妹——科学辩证法,在其中起到了关键性的作用:限定双方可以动用证据、证明来为己方提供理由从而征服对手,从而保证科学争论的合法性、有效性和相关性。
Epistemologically,a scientific controversy is a rhetoric context in which both sides in argument persuade and refute each other; methodologically,it is a context field in which both sides in argument compare and measure the rhetorical methods by means of flexible and non-procedural tactics or strategies based on its ad interim（ at that time） conditions. In scientific controversies,rhetoric of science is responsible for the switch from one party＇s demonstration to the argumentative field in which both sides face each other and are responsible for examining the legitimacy of argumentative sides＇ qualification and entitling the rights of appeal and refutation to the sides and comparing the validity of proof,evidence and reason and the strength of persuasion; meanwhile,dialectics of science,a companion piece to rhetoric of science,plays a crucial role in regulating and restricting the behavior of reasoning,persuading and refuting to conquer the rivals,ensuring the legitimacy,validity and relevance of scientific controversies.
