The paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional hydrocyclone and its operating parameters,details the effect of air column generated in cyclone operation, and the improvement of stirring cyclone equipment structure and adjustment of performance parameters can increase classification and working efficiency, reduce over-crushing of minerals and amount of sand return, extend equipment service life, reduce investment risk and maintenance cost and save operating cost greatly.
