摘要
探究中国书院和欧洲中世纪大学的文化内涵以及它们本质上的异同,对中国现代大学的建设意义重大。以封龙书院和巴黎大学为基点,从三个方面对中、欧古典高等教育的发展历程进行了系统阐述:"崇圣尚礼和经世致用"的书院精神与"尊崇探究,追求自由"的大学精神;受儒、释、道不同宗教文化孕育的中国书院和以基督教神学为唯一精神核心和行为准则的中世纪大学;几近接近却又自成体系的中国书院和中世纪大学的组织结构。最后概述中国书院和中世纪大学各自优秀的教育传承对现代大学的影响和启迪。
Research on the cultural essence and differences of Chinese classical academies and European medieval colleges is of great importance to the construction of modern universities in China.The paper,based on the research of Fenglong Academy and Paris University,discusses the development of Chinese and European classical higher education from three aspects：the academy spirit and the university spirit;the Chinese classical academies in the religious culture of Confucius,Buddhism and Taoism and the medieval colleges with Christianity as their core of spirit;similar but unique structures of Chinese academies and medieval colleges.Then the paper summarizes the positive inheritance and inspirations of Chinese academies and medieval colleges.
