摘要
高校图书馆应尽可能辐射周边社区,逐步向社会开放。湖北理工学院图书馆所处的社区有需要图书馆提供服务的需求。湖北理工学院图书馆以其地域优势和资源优势,通过改变服务思想、开放本馆资源、指导社区读者合理利用资源等途径,开展了一些服务社区的有效实践,促进了社区文化繁荣,满足了部分居民的文化需求,对学校自身的发展也有一定的促进作用。
University library should open for social readers and community readers as possible.The communities near Library of Hubei Polytechnic University have the demands on library service.Based on its geographical advantage and resource advantage,through changing the service idea,opening the library resource and guiding the community readers to use library resource reasonably,Library of Hubei Polytechnic University carried out some effective practice in servicing community,which promoted the cultural prosperity of community and met the cultural needs of residents,and also played a certain role in promoting the development of university.
