摘要
新闻英语和其他语言相比,具有自己独特的语言特点,不仅拥有新闻用语的基本特征,也包含了丰富的异域文化背景信息。文章从新闻英语的词汇特点、句法和语言风格等方面进行分析,并从英汉语言的区别探讨新闻英语的翻译策略。
Compared with other style of English,journalistic English has its own unique language features,which contains not only the fundamental features of idiomatic expression of news language ,but also abundant exotic cultural background informa- tion. This article probes and analyses from the prospective of the characteristics of vocabulary, syntax and language dic- tion, meanwhile, from the point of the difference between Chinese and English, this thesis seek to explore the translation strategy of journalistic English, hoping to serve as a modest spur to induce someone to come forward with his valuable con- tributions.
