摘要
习近平总书记强调,生态环境保护是功在当代、利在千秋的事业。随着工业社会的发展,城市化进度迅速加快,环境污染也越发严重。如大气污染,雾霾的范围扩大;水污染,人类可饮用的水资源减少;森林砍伐,植被覆盖率降低,水土流失,动物失去栖息的家园;环境问题已成为威胁人类健康生存的主要问题之一。
General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that eco-environmental protection is the cause at present and benefit future generations. With the development of the industrial society, the progress of urbanization is accelerating rapidly, leading to increasingly worsening environmental pollution, such as air pollution with an expanding scope of smog diffusion and water pollution with a decrease in drinkable water resources for human beings. Besides, deforestation has reduced vegetation coverage and resulted in soil erosion, which deprives animals of their habitats.In brief, the environmental problem has become one of the main problems threatening the health and survival of human beings.
