摘要
心道是一位在中国近代佛教史上有一定影响的高僧。然而其在当下无论是研究学者还是佛教信徒,对这位高僧都了解不多。特别是其两次来到西北学密弘法,尤其是第二次西北之行,曾在敦煌停留月余,在此期间弘扬法幢宗、兴建法幢宗寺院、广收弟子,把敦煌地区的佛教引入正信佛教。通过对心道在敦煌地区弘法活动的研究,可以对民国时期敦煌地区的佛教情况有一个比较清晰的了解和认识。
X in daois an eminent monk who had a certain influence in the history of modem Chi- nese Buddhism. But now whether Buddhist scholars or monks, they all haven＇ t known about him. He had been to Northwest China twice to learn Vajrayana and disseminate Buddhism, es- pecially the second trip to the northwest for more than a month, during which time he began to found the sect of Fa chuangand build the temples, widely receive the disciples and promote the development of the orthodox Buddhism in Dunhuang. Through the study of the Xin dao＇ sBud- dhist propaganda activities in Dunhuang, we will have a clearer understanding and knowledge about Buddhist status of Dunhuang during the period of Republic of China.
