摘要
话剧《茶馆》是老舍先生全部剧作中最有光彩的作品之一。文章以关联翻译理论为理论框架,探讨英若诚和霍华两位译者在处理话剧《茶馆》中汉语感叹词时所采取的翻译策略,并从关联理论的角度阐释分析了两位译者的处理方式,论证了关联翻译理论对话剧翻译实践和翻译批评的解释力和指导意义。
This thesis attempts to investigate different translation strategies adopted by two translators in the process of translating Chinese interjections.It makes detailed analysis of their distinct rendering from the perspective of Relevance Translation Theory.The study shows the great interpretative ability of Relevance Theory.It is concluded that the Relevance Theory provides significant guidance for translating practice and translation criticism.
