摘要
在中国和西方文化关系中,18世纪和19世纪是两个完全不同的阶段。18世纪是西方崇拜中国的世纪,代表人物是法国哲学家伏尔泰;19世纪是西方批判中国的世纪,代表人物是哲学家黑格尔。从黑格尔的中国观可以看到,在19世纪欧洲的思想家是如何看待中国的,从而为我们展现出这一时期,中国古代文化在欧洲被接受与理解的维度和真实画面。
In the history of Sino-Western cultural relations, the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries are two completely different phases. The former is a century of the westerners ' admiration for China, in which the French philosopher Voltaire is mentioned here as one of the representatives; the latter is, in contrast, a century of criticizing China, as represented in Hegel's views on China. Under the historical background of Sino-Western cultural re-lations, this paper discusses Hegels ' main viewpoints on China, the source of his knowledge about China, and the ideological and philosophical grounds of the western philosophers' perception of China in the nineteenth century.
