摘要
《萨迦格言》是藏族格言诗代表作之一。迄今五名译者将其译成了英文,而达文波特英译本是第一个诗体全译本。对其研究后发现,该译本从形式上来说是以诗译诗,保留了文本的诗歌文学性;从内容上来讲保留了格言诗的道德寓意和价值观;从注释而言强化了说教性。达文波特译本有几个特征:体例完备,附有评论;注释详尽,不厌其烦;自由体建构;宗教寓意明显;词汇丰富,祈使句多。达文波特对传播中国文化有一定贡献。
Analects is a typical quotation text, the meaning of which is mostly realized by the syntactic structures of projection. Till now, the equivalence study on the projection structures in Analects and its English versions has not aroused too much concern. Thus, this research studies whether the projection structures in Analects and its English version have achieved functional discourse equivalence. By discussing issues on the functional discourse equivalence of the projection structures in Analects and its English version, the paper concludes that the translation of the projection structures has achieved functional discourse equivalence from the perspective of functional-discourse translation studies, which verifies the interpretation and applicability of systemic-functional linguistics on translation studies.
