Pyroptosis and its relationship with HIV-1 pathogenic mechanism

摘要 焦亡是一种新发现的程序性细胞死亡方式,由Caspase-1引起。对于未有效感染HIV-1的CD4+T细胞死亡,现认为可能与焦亡相关。随着对焦亡与HIV-1致病机制关系研究的深入,HAART联合抗焦亡治疗可能为HIV治疗带来新的希望。 Pyroptosis is a new way of programmed cell death which occurs through caspase-1. The death of quiescent lymphoid CD4~ T-cells with abortive HIV-1 infection may be regarded as a result of the pyroptosis. With the further research of pathogenic mechanism of pyroptosis in HIV-1, caspase-1 inhibitors combined with HAART may bring new hope for HIV-1 treatment clinically.
