摘要
网络媒体的负面报道是否能对政府治理发挥作用?文章以海南国际旅游岛建设的实例探讨了这一问题。研究发现:网络媒体的负面报道对政府治理发挥了积极作用。网络媒体负面报道次数的增加,必然会引起政府的关注,迫使政府出台相应的政策措施,加大治理力度,净化市场环境。进一步研究发现:网络媒体的负面报道对行业效益的影响是不确定的,即负面报道次数本身对行业效益几乎没有影响,加入控制变量后,影响才比较明显。
Do the negative reports of the network media affect government governance？ This paper discusses the issue based on the development of Hainan as an international tourism island. The study finds that negative media reports have played a positive role in governance. With the increase of the negative reports, it will inevi- tably attract the attention of the government, forcing the government to implement corresponding policies and measures. So it not only increases the intensity of governance but also purifies the market environment. In a fur- ther study, the impact of negative press coverage on industrial efficiency is uncertain, namely, the quantity of negative reports has little impact on industrial efficiency. The impact is evident only when putting the controlled variable. The conclusions of this paper provide reference that helps the government identify network informa- tion, treat the negative reports rationality, and derive wisdom from the network platform, and finally carry out effective governance.
