摘要
本文利用一个Web代理服务器,对Symphony的基于Web的OPAC系统进行了扩展设计,以弥补原OPAC系统的不足,并在现有门户网站基础上,给出了该扩展系统的一种实现。测试表明,该扩展设计是可行的,扩展系统能够满足读者通过移动终端检索图书、续借图书等的需求。
In this paper, an expanded system based on the Web OPAC system which provided by- the Symphony ILS was designed by using a Web proxy server to remedy the disadvantages of the original Web OPAC system, and then the expanded sys- tem is developed with the help of an existing portal website. The practical tests showed that the design is feasible, and the devel- oped system can meet the reader＇s needs of book retrieval, book renew, etc.on the mobile terminal.
