摘要 采用DRM(Deese/Roediger Mc Dermott paradigm)范式,探讨汉语错误再认的影响因素. This study used the DRM paradigm to explore the role of orthography in modality effect in false memory of Chinese. The author used withinsubject design in experiment with 60 undergraduates participated in it, which were divided into experimental and control groups of 30 people. Each participant needs to learn lists presented in two ways:visually and auditory, subjects in the experimental group were asked to carry out an or-thography judgment task, while the control group without the task.At test,it is a word recognition test, all the test items are presented visually. The results of the experiment indicate that:The modality effect in false mem-ory occurs with Chinese lists, more false memory generate in visual presentation compared with aural presenta-tion.Orthographic information is an important factor in the modality effect, and the modality effect appears to depend on using orthographic information. We can explaine the findings of the modality effect in false recogni-tion in our experiments from the view of the different encoding and processingcharacteristics of Chinese charac-ters.
