Simulation of Flow Resistance Performance Optimization of Diesel Particulate Filter

摘要 通过AVL FIRE建立DPF捕集模型,模拟DPF微粒捕集过程。对比不同过滤体的流阻性能,根据压降特性对捕集过程进行划分,研究了进气流量、进气温度、过滤体长度、孔密度和壁厚对不同阶段过滤压降的影响。研究结果表明:圆柱状过滤体流阻性能优于长方体状;DPF捕集过程分为深床捕集和滤饼捕集,两者对压降特性影响各异;当增大进气流量时过滤压降大幅上升,但缩短了捕集进程;过滤压降随进气温度呈线性增长关系;适量增大过滤体长度以及减小过滤壁厚度均能降低过滤压降;增大孔密度会提高初始过滤压降,但能降低高微粒捕集时的过滤压降。 A particulate filter model was established through AVL FIRE to simulate the filtration process. Different filters' flow resistance performances were compared and the filtration process was divided according to the pressure drop characteristics. Effects of inlet flow,inlet temperature,filter length,cell density and wall thickness on pressure drop at different stages were studied. The simulation results indicat that cylindrical filter has a lower pressure drop than the rectangle one. The filtration process was divided into depth filtration and cake filtration that has different effects on pressure drop characteristics. The increase of flow makes the filter pressure drop much higher and shortens the particle filtration process. The pressure drop increased with the temperature growth as a liner relationship. A moderate increase of the length of filter and the decrease of the wall thickness both reduce the filter pressure drop. The increase of cell density increases the initial filter pressure drop. However it reduces the filter pressure drop at high particle filter amount.
