摘要
归化和异化作为两个重要的翻译策略,在中西方漫长的翻译研究过程中经历了百年的发展与完善,从传统的直译和意译发展到现代的归化和异化。在这一过程中有关两者的争论此起彼伏。本文以《红楼梦》中诗词的翻译为文本来解读其归化和异化的翻译策略,目的在于说明归化和异化在翻译中是必不可少、相辅相成的关系。它们为翻译的研究和文学作品的分析提供了一个多角度、多层次、全方位的研究方法。
Domestication and alienation as two important translation strategies,it has experienced hundreds of years of development and perfection in the process of Chinese and western translation studies,from the traditional literal translation and free translation to modern translation of domestication and alienation,the debate is still going on. This paper is based on the translation of poems in A Dream of Red Mansions to interpret the translation strategy of domestication and alienation,so as to illustrate the complementary relationship between domestication and alienation in translation. They provide a multi-angle,multi-level and comprehensive research method for the translation research and analysis of literary works.
