摘要
本文介绍了信息共享空间（IC）的概念、理念,具体分析了高校图书馆IC的要素及构建模式.在计算机技术、网络技术不断发展的今日,对IC构建发展的必要性进行研究,并从IC物理层、虚拟层、支持层三方面对高校图书馆IC的发展趋势进行分析.
This paper introduces the concept of Information Commons （ IC）, specificaly analyses the elements of and the construction model of the university library IC. Today,wiht the development of computer and network technolo- gy, the author studies the necessity of development of IC, carries out the analysis from the IC physical layer, virtual layer and support layer to analyse the development trend of the university library IC.
