开槽位置对搅拌摩擦加工制备SiCp/铝基复合材料均匀性的影响 被引量:3

Influence of groove position on uniformity of SiCp/aluminum-based composite fabricated with friction stir processing

摘要 采用搅拌摩擦加工技术(FSP)制备SiCp增强铝基复合材料,研究不同开槽位置对SiCp分布均匀性的影响.结果表明:开槽位置影响塑性金属随搅拌头的迁移流动方式,导致复合材料宏观形貌和颗粒分布均匀性存在较大差异,轴肩作用区SiCp分布较为均匀,开槽位置处含量较高,SiCp分布不对称于加工中心.对不同开槽位置(前进侧、中间、返回侧)下复合材料横截面进行成分半定量分析表明:SiCp均匀性优劣程度依次为开槽位置位于前进侧、中间、返回侧.随着加工道次增加,塑性金属变形量增加,材料流动性增强,搅拌加工区域面积增大,前进侧开槽位置3道次加工后增强相SiCp破碎细化且均匀分布. Composites of aluminum-base with SiCp reinforcing were fabricated by means of friction stir processing(FSP),and the effects of different groove cutting positions on the uniformity of SiCp distribution were studied.The result showed that the groove position would have influence on the migration flow patterns of the plastic metal with the stirring head,causing agreater difference in macro-morphology of composite and uniformity of SiCp distribution.The SiCp would be more uniformly distributed on shoulder action zone,its content would be higher at groove position,and the distribution of SiCp would be asymmetric about the processing center.It was shown by the semi-quantitative analysis of the composition on the composite cross-sections at different groove positions(advancing side,middle side,and retreating side)that the uniformity of SiCp would be the best when the groove position was at the advancing side,moderate at the middle side,and the worst at the retreating side.With the increase of processing pass times,the deformation of plastic metal would increase,the material flow ability enhance,and the area of the stirring processing zone expand.The SiCp-reinforcement phase would be refined and uniformly distributed after three-pass processing.
