The main reaction residue hydroconversion process has hydrogenolysis and hydrocracking reaction, the reaction rate depends on the raw material composition and the operating conditions, including reaction temperature, space velocity, hydrogen partial pressure and hydrogen to oil ratio. The paper will analyze the key factors above; provide guidance for optimizing residue hydrotreating process operating conditions.
