西南剧展是我国抗日战争时期特定的文化现象,它拥有丰富的文化内涵,代表了那个时代所特有的文化符号。西南剧展文化价值取向,主要是通过人的作用发挥出来的。爱国主义是西南剧展的精神内核,通过戏剧形式和文化主题唤醒民众的共鸣感,其本质就是要深刻内化核心价值观。西南剧展体现了以爱国为主题的"民族的血脉"和"人民的精神家园"的文化价值,成为抗战文化不同凡响的一面旗帜。
