摘要
创客空间为一般民众提供了线下学习的器材与工作场景,可以被归类为一种提供科技素质教育的微型学校。创客空间互补于慕课(MOOC)所提供的低价或免费的线上教学内容,相对于以学历教育服务为主的教学服务,创客空间所组织的活动单项资本投入较为灵活,而全球化的创客社区可以成为支撑传统教育组织的人才资源库。该文将通过多个国家的创客组织与轻资产教育组织的案例,介绍由创客运动所带来的全球化科技教育的趋势。
Hackerspace is a public learning space that provides manufacturing equipment and working space for its members, and therefore can be considered as a kind of self-organizing public school. Compared to traditional educational institutions, hackerspaces require relatively lighte capital investment, and can be a resource pool to support existing educational programs. This article presents a number of case studies that show educational institutions around the world and introduces the trent of globalization in science education which is brought about by hacker/maker movement.
