摘要
作为马克·吐温的代表作之一,《哈克贝里·费恩历险记》一直是国内外研究者重点关注的对象。本文运用功能语言学和语料库技术相结合的方法,通过对文中动植物词汇和机构词汇的索引分析,探索小说蕴含的人类中心主义思想,同时阐述功能语言学和语料库技术相结合的文本分析方法本身的局限性。
As one of the masterpieces of Mark Twain, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn has been constantly explored by researchers for generations. This paper conducts a critical analysis of the novel by employing both functional linguistics and corpus method. It in- dicates that, through the analysis of animal and plant nouns and institutional nouns, the whole novel represents a symbol of an- thropocentfism. In addition, the final part of the paper also points out the limitation of the present analysis with corpus method and functional linguistics.
