Technologies of packet-dropping buffer management in the Internet

摘要 Internet中,基于分组丢弃的缓存管理技术是分组转发设备的重要功能模块,其算法对网络性能会产生重大影响。本文对现有主要的分组丢弃技术及其派生算法作了总结,并就存在的问题和不足提出了研究建议。 In the Internet, the buffer management technology based on packet dropping is an important module of packet forwarding devices, and the related algorithm has great influence on the performance of the networks. This paper summarizes the main existent packet-dropping technologies as well as their variations, and gives advice on future research to solve the present problems.
