SRTM DEM与ASTER DEM数据比较研究

摘要 SRTM DEM是利用航天飞机雷达地形测绘获取的全球中低纬度地区地表的高分辨率雷达影像生成的DEM,它具有较高的分辨率和现势性;ASTER DEM是利用高分辨率卫星成像设备ASTER获取的立体影像生成的DEM,全球覆盖范围更广、数据分辨率更高。由于两种DEM获取机理与生产工艺不同,因此存在较大的数据差异。为了利用两种数据进行DEM数据融合与更新,需要对不同地形DEM数据进行比较研究与分析。本文选取具有高山峡谷地貌特征的某山区为实验区,运用总体统计分析、检查点法和剖面法对SRTM DEM与ASTER DEM进行数据比较研究。结果表明,SRTM DEM与ASTER DEM中误差约为45m,误差值在-150m至150m的点数量呈正态分布,在山峰与山谷处高程值差异明显。 SRTM DEM is generated with the high resolution radar images of the global land surface at mid and low latitude which are collected by the shuttle radar topography mission (SRTM), and it has a higher resolution and more on - going. ASTER DEM is generated by stereo images from high resolution satellite imaging equipment ASTER, and it has a wider coverage and higher resolution. There are big variances between the two kinds of data because of the different generation mechanism and production technique. In order to make use of both these data to fuse and update DEM, comparative research and analysis of DEM data of different topography should be conducted. In this paper, a certain mountain area with characteristics of high - mountain and deep - valley is selected as the experimental region, and the comparative study between the SRTM DEM and ASTER DEM is conducted applying the overall statistical analysis method, checking point method and profile method. The results show that the RMSE between SRTM DEM and ASTER DEM is about 45meter, the points with an error between - 150m and 150m present nor- real distribution, and the elevation discrepancy is apparent at the peaks and valleys.
