应以“学生中心”取代“教师中心”吗? 被引量:14

Should “Student Centeredness” Replace “Teacher Centeredness”?

摘要 "学生中心"在其基本含义方面已有主旨相通的两个论述交集区,但还不是一个严格意义上的概念;在对其评价方面,不仅好处说得太满,而且沉疴仍讳疾忌医。因此,"学生中心"取代"教师中心"的先决条件尚未具备。再加上此"取代"所需的转换机制匮乏,以及"教师中心"同样有其利弊,如今实在很难把班级教学框定在某种教学理念上。现应作出的选择,看来不是将"学生中心"与"教师中心"推倒重来,而是使之扬长补短。推倒重来和取而代之一样,似都不可取。 Technically, "student centeredness" is not a theoretical concept in the real sense of the word, though "student" and "centeredness" can be clearly defined. Current evaluation of student centeredness is one-sidedly eulogized, and its shortcomings are seldom mentioned. Therefore, the requisite for the replacement of student centeredness for teacher centeredness in classroom teaching is not there, and the mechanism shift that such replacement entails is non-existent. Considering the equally obvious shortcomings of teacher centeredness, it is unwise to confine teaching methods to either of them. The most practical approach now is to make the two practices complement each other rather than start all over again or let one replace the other.
