摘要
章学诚对袁枚的批评是清代学术史中的一段公案。其中,章学诚对袁枚的女性观进行了激烈的抨击,甚至展开了人身攻击。然而,反观章、袁二人的女性观,却可以发现他们对待女性的态度有诸多相似之处,如对女性多元价值的肯定、对侠义妓女的赞赏、对女性才学的肯定等等。当然,二人的女性观也有不可逾越的樊篱,即礼教观念。在礼教内外,二人都同样对女性的解放做出了可贵的探索。
The criticism of Yuan Mei by Zhang Xuecheng was a legal case in the academic history of the Qing Dynasty, in which Zhang Xuecheng conducted a fierce criticism of Yuan Mei＇ s female views. It even involved certain personal attack. However, with a review of the female views by the two, it is not hard to find out that there were quite a lot of similarities in their view toward women＇ s attitude, for example, the affirmation of the multi - dimensional value of women, the appreciation of chivalrous prostitutes, and the affirmation of the female scholarship. Of course, there were insurmountable barriers of concept between the two on women, namely, the concept of propriety. Inside and outside the term of propriety, both of them made a valuable exploration for women＇s liberation.
