On Evidence for Embodied Grounding of Metaphoric Language

摘要体验是概念隐喻的哲学基础。作为概念隐喻最显现的表现形式,隐喻语言的体验基础受到学者们的广泛关注和讨论。本文梳理了国外认知语言学﹑心理语言学和神经语言学在隐喻语言体验基础研究上取得的趋同证据;并就未来研究的方向:复合隐喻的探讨﹑实验设计的优化和测试类型的扩充展开谈论;同时简单介绍了国内研究现状,以期拓展国内相关理论研究的新视角,激发实践层面的新思考。 Embodiment is the philosophic grounding of Conceptual Metaphor Theory （CMT）. As the most obvious manifesta- tion of CMT, metaphoric language has aroused enormous attention and discussion around its embodied grounding. The article presents an overview of the convergent evidence for the presence of embodiment in metaphoric language in three fields of cogni- tive linguistics,psycholinguistics and neurolinguisties, discusses the future direction of this research including complex meta- phor, empirical optimization and expansion of the object type and introduces present research status in China, aiming to develop a new angle of its theory and initiate a new thinking on its practice.
