摘要
山岳信仰是古老的世界性信仰,中国很早就发生了关于山岳的神话、信仰与礼敬行为。山岳祭祀是中国传统祭礼的重要组成部分。传统山岳祭祀经历了原始自然崇拜、神秘王权确认与帝国江山社稷保障三个阶段。人们由被动膜拜山岳,到主动册封山神,再到要求山神为我所用,山岳巍巍万年没有改变,但人与山的关系却在不断的变化之中。今人的山岳观念较之于古代人的山岳观念无疑有重大的改变,人们对于山岳已经由崇拜信仰转变为尊重感恩,因此祭山礼俗发生改变理所当然。如果在重视继承传统礼俗中的有益的祭祀原则与仪轨的基础上,根据当今社会伦理意识与民族文化建设需要,在复兴祭山礼俗过程中对传统礼俗进行适应性或者说选择性的传承,则既尊重与继承了传统,也遵循了当代社会的文化逻辑,是传承中的更新,符合文化演化法则,同样适合我们今天所从事的非物质文化遗产活态保护的原则。
Mountain worship is an ancient practice around the world; and the mythologies, beliefs and worships concern- ing mountains have had a long history in China. In fact, mountain sacrifice constitutes an important part of the traditional Chinese sacrifice culture. It has experienced the three stages of primitive natural worship,mysterious kingship acknowledge- ment and imperial throne guarantee. People passively start with worshiping mountains,and then actively conferring titles of nobility to them and finally request mountain gods to do whatever they wish,a process in which mountains have remained to themselves but the relationship has been changed. Today the belief has no doubt varied in a tremendous way,that is, from worship and belief to respect and gratitude,which should be a natural transformation in custom. However,if there are both respect and inheritance of the tradition,it would confirm the current principle of protecting non-material cultural legacy.
