摘要
作者认为，基础理论研究是应用研究的先导，两者的有机结合与和谐统一，构成情报学整体研究的各单元问的平衡比例关系。作者提出，情报学基础理论研究近期的突破口，应选择在情报学研究方法论、情撤学理论体系框架、情报用户及其需求和情报政策研究等。
The authors are of the beliet that basic theoretical research is the precur- sot of application research The. organiecombination and harmonious unification of both constitute the balanced proportionate relationship among various units of the integral research on informatics.It points out that the choice of gaps to make breakthroughs recently in basic theoretical research on same ought to be in such aspects as methodology, the iramework of the theoretical system of iniormatics, information users and their demands, and intorrnation policy .
