摘要
"诚明"是古代修养之学中的重要精神,它源于古圣先贤治国、治学的经验,集中体现在《中庸》中。唐以后,"诚明"的精神开始被学者重视,至宋代被理学家如周敦颐、邵雍、张载、二程、朱熹等人推崇备至,"诚明"之学在宋代维系相沿而成一道统,但对其义理的解释亦有"等而下之"的趋势,最终发展为"以敬代诚"。明代心学家湛若水、王守仁等从"心即理"的角度重新对"诚明"进行阐释,遂成另一番气象。经历清代的遗忘,及至近代,在"西学东渐"的大潮下,又有新儒家以"诚明"为书院院训,足见"诚明"之学在儒家道统中的地位。正因"诚即道,诚以明道,道不可穷","诚明"精神在不同时代都能发挥其重要价值。
In the study of ancient culture,＂sincerity and enlightment＂is the most important spirit,it results from ancient sages and research experience,embodied in＂ZhongYong＂. After Tang dynasty,the spirit of＂sincerity and enlightment＂came into scholars attention During Song dynasty,neo- confucianism as Zhou Dunyi,Shao Yong,Zhang Zai,Er Cheng and Zhu Xi paied more attention to it,＂sincerity and enlightment＂held down and became a buddhist in Song dynasty,but the interpretation of the philosophical connotations also has a tendency to ＂go downhill＂. In Ming dynasty,ZhanReShui and Wang Yangming＇s interpreted ＂sincerity and enlightment＂from the Angle of＂Heart＂theories,then it became another scene. After Qing dynasty＇forgotten,to modern times,under the tide of＂Introduces＂,new Confucianism took＂sincerity and enlightment＂as the academy school motto,which serves to show the status of＂sincerity and enlightment＂in Confucian orthodoxy. Because of＂sincerity is Tao,sincerity to Tao,Tao is endless＂,＂sincerity and enlightment＂spirit has its important value in any age.
