Effect of Light Intensity on the Development of Melon Fruit

摘要 选用‘伽师瓜’、‘西州密1号’和‘早皇后’3个不同成熟期的甜瓜品种为试验材料,研究不同光照强度在甜瓜品种果实发育过程中对果实的纵径、横径、鲜质量、体积等的影响。结果表明:透光率42%与透光率23%处理果实外观色泽和形状明显不如对照,2个处理之间虽有差距,但区别不是很大。3个品种中‘西州密1号’在遮光情况下果实外观品质表现最好,‘伽师瓜’最差。 We used 3 Hami melon varieties with different maturity to study the effects of light intensity on fruit length, width, fresh weight and fruit volume during fruit development. The test results showed that the treatment of 42% and 23% light transmitting significantly affected color and shape of fruit compared to control. However,the two treatment had similar reduction to fruit color and fruit shape. 'Xizhoumi No. 1 'performed the best under reduced light intensity and the land race 'Jiashigua'performed the worst among three varieties tested.
