摘要
dBASE数据库是使用极为广泛的一种数据库产品。早期的dBASE数据库运行于DOS和UNIX XENIX操作系统平台。而如今 ,支持GUI(用户图形界面 )的Windows操作系统已成为主流操作系统。越来越多的基于DOS和dBASE的应用程序将被改写。如能充分利用已大量存在的dBASE数据将会节省很多的人力、物力、财力。本文笔者将介绍利用Windows下的编程语言VisualBasic访问dBASE数据库的技术。
dBASE is a kind of widely\|used RDBMS. Normally the early dBase runs on DOS or UNIX/XENIX platform. However, Windows, which support GUI, has become the essential operating system nowadays. More and more utility programs based on DOS or UNIX must be rewritten. So it would be helpful if we can make full use of a large amount of already existing dBase data. The present paper introduces the technology of accessing dBase data with Visual Basic.
