摘要
利用三套Pomeron的结构函数和重夸克偶素的色八重态产生机制,计算了ep碰撞中,解离光子与质子的衍射过程中J/ψ与γ协产生的截面。结果发现:由不同 Pomeron的结构函数引起的微分截面的差别可达到1.8倍;总截面的差别为1.7倍,在质心系能量为100GeV时,总截面可达到0.003nb。所以,通过实验上对这一过程的精确测量结果,可以进一步了解Pomeron的结构和衍射过程的因子化方法。
Using three sets of Pomeron structure functions, the cross sections of J/ψ and γ associate production via resolved photon and proton diffractive scatting in ep collision are investigated. It is found that the cross sections calculated with vary gluon distribution functions of Pomeron are different, the discrepancy is about 1.8 times for differential cross section and 1.7 times for total cross section. The experimental studies of the process could give valuable insight in the diffractive production mechanism and test the color-octet mechanism for heavy quarkonia production in a new environment.
