摘要
提出了一种基于均方误差 (MSE)测度的矢量量化快速编码算法 ,算法利用小波变换的特点 ,合理地构造矢量 ,结合非线性插补矢量量化技术、矢量和值差法和部分失真排除法 ,在搜索编码过程中 ,有效排除部分候选码字。实验结果表明 ,相对于穷尽搜索方法 ,计算量有明显降低 ,计算时间减少约 97%。
A fast encoding algorithm which is based on the mean square error (MES) distortion for vector quantization is introduced. With wavelet transform features of this algorithm, the vectors can be effectively constructed. In the process of searching for code, a part of code words can be rejected by utilizing the non-linear interpolated vector quantization (NLIVQ) technique, the partial distance search technique and the method of using the difference between the vector sum values of two vectors. Experimental results show that the reduction of computation is considerable and computing time is reduced by about 97% as against full search method in the encoding.
