摘要
希腊古典哲学是西方哲学与文化之源。将希腊古典哲学放在希腊古典文明的宏阔背景中考察 ,可以发现 ,它的本质特征与重要贡献是体现了希腊古典文明的基本文化精神 ,奠立了科学理性与人文精神这一西方哲学与文化传统 ,推进了当时的科学思想与人文、社会知识 ,对西方后世的哲学。
The Greek classical philosophy is the origin of western philosophy and culture. This essay reviewed the Greek classical philosophy in the context of Greek classical civilization, discoursed briefly on historical evolution of Greek classical philosophy from early Greek philosophy to Aristotle, and pointsed out that its essential characteristic and important contribution consists in embodying basic cultural spirit of Greek classical civilization, laying foundation of scientific reason and humanistic ethos as western tradition of philosophy and culture, advancing forward the contemporary scientific thought ,humanities and knowledge of society, and profoundly influencing upon the philosophies and cultures in the later ages.
