The paper reviewed how the fast growing information technology pushes forword the market of the compound semiconductors, especially the market of the microstructue materials. Some GaAs based microstructure materiels with good performance grown by MBE in the authors laboratory and their device applications were reported. How to develop MBE material from research results to mass production in China was pointed out in the paper.
