摘要
作为英语习语的重要组成部分,成对词为数众多,语义丰富,应用广泛。其变异形式的结构特点、语义关系,语音特征、语法功能等值得探讨。
As an important part of English idioms, English idiomatic pairs of words are large in number ,rich in meaning and wide in use. Much discussion has been held on idiomatic pairs of words,yet little discussion has been held on their variations. This paper discusses the structural,semantic,phonetic,grammatical and stylistic features of variations of these pairs of words.
