摘要
尊师重教是邓小平一贯倡导的思想。他旗帜鲜明地提出推翻“两个估计”,号召整个社会尊重教师,恢复和提高了教师的地位;积极主张党和政府采取有力措施为教师创造良好的工作、生活条件;同时,希望教师自觉提高思想政治素质和业务水平,沿着又红又专的道路前进。
Respecting teacher, and laying stress on education is the persistent thoughts of Deng Xiao-ping. He clearly brings forward that repudiated 'Two Estimate' and calls on the whole society to respect teachers, to restore and improve teacher's status. He vigorously encourages the Party and the government to create a better working and living condition for teachers. At the same time he hopes the teachers can improve their moral and political qualities and professional levels so as to advance along a road both socialist-minded and vocationally proficient.
