本文研究了棉属栽培种与野生种杂交的不亲和性,试验材料涉及5个染色体组,包括2个栽培种(陆地棉和中棉)和5个野生种(戴维逊氏棉、瑟伯氏棉、三裂棉、阿拉伯棉和比克氏棉)。以陆地棉作母本,异己花粉管在花柱中生长缓慢,有花粉管胚珠低于10%,陆地棉×戴维逊氏棉杂种胚在子叶期坏死。以中棉作母本,不亲和性主要表现在受精后的胚胎发育过程中。
This paper deals with the interspecific incompatibility in crosses between the cultivated species and the wild species in Gossypium. The materials used involved 5 genomes, including 2 cultivated species (G. hirsuium and G. arboreum) and 5 wild species (G. thurber, G. davidsonii, G. trilobum, G. stockii and G. bicki). Foreign pollen tubes grew slowly in the style of G. hirsuium, and the ovules with pollen tubes were less than 10 percent in the crosses using G. hirsuium as the female parent. Hybrid embryo of the G. hirsutum × G. davidsonii became nec-rotic at the cotyledonary stage. In the crosses using G. arboreum as the female parent incompatibility mainly occurred in hybrid development of postfertilization. Hybrid embryo of the G. arboreum × G. davidsonii aborted, and the endosperm was degenerated. Although development of hybrid embryo and endosperm of the G. arboreum × G. bickii was approximately normal, the radicle could not grow. Therefore, it is also extremely difficult to obtain the hybrid plant from this cross-combination.
