摘要
王云五是中国著名的出版大家。他主持商务二十 余年，坚持出书又出人的原则，编辑出版各科知识新丛书，发明四角号码检字法，创办东方 图书馆，开创“科学管理法”，使商务印书馆在三十年代成为世界三大出版社之一。晚年， 他重振台湾商务印书馆，为我国的出版事业做出了重要贡献。
： Wang Yun-wu was a famous publisher and editor of China.Durin g his 25 years management and administration period of the Commercial Press,he used to train his staff with the publishing practice. The press had published a lot of new knowledges series books of various scholarly branches.He invented the 4 angle-numbers dictionary looking up method,established The East library,and set up a scientific management system in the Commercial Press in her early days, therefore,the press had become one of the third biggest presses in the world dur ing 1930s. In his later years,he made a great deal of contributions to the Comme rcial Press and the press of China in Taiwan island.
